Image Transmission

Most people today are aware of, and have the facilities for taking usable images with a digital camera. If they do not own and use one, then they probably know someone who does, who would have the knowledge and be willing to transmit these as attachments to my email address. I would then be able to quickly confirm if these images are of a quality suitable for my needs.

Format

As will be seen from my portfolio gallery , most of my work is of portrait type paintings i.e. head and shoulders rather than of the complete animal.This usually gives greater detail of the character, colouring and markings of the pet.

For these reasons the most important aspects of the supplied image should be:-

      • the colour, highlights and detail of the eyes

      • the same detail for the nose

       • the colour and texture of the coat, fur or hair

 Please try to keep the background in the image as contrasting (in colour) as possible from that of the main subject.

Sharp focus is also essential.
